The Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union (ABWU) acknowledges the Government’s decision to increase the national minimum wage from $9.00 to $11.50 per hour, effective April 1, 2026, as part of a phased increase toward $13.01 per hour. This adjustment represents an important step in improving the livelihoods of the most vulnerable workers across Antigua and Barbuda.
