Membership

The Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union represents employees on an individual and collective basis. To become a member of the Union, one only has to complete the registration form and pay a one-time payment of Twenty Five Dollars. Currently, the Union’s weekly dues is $10, which can be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Becoming a member of the Antigua and Barbuda Workers' Union gives you much more than exceptional representation on various grievances. The Union has partnered with various workplaces to provide discounts for its membership. Please see below a list of the Union’s Corporate Partners:

YOUTH ARM

The ABWU Youth Arm comprises a diverse group of young workers united by their love for trade unionism. The Youth Arm provides a space for young workers to access education and training opportunities that will accelerate their careers. It also provides opportunities for young workers to network with peers in their local communities and across the globe. If you are below 36 years of age, please consider joining the ABWU Youth Arm.
