Workers in the Banking and Finance Section of the Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union recently met to discuss several matters affecting workers in the sector.
Among the issues raised was the harmonisation of benefits across the various collective bargaining agreements and uniformity in thrift fund schemes.
Section Chair, Monique Roberts described the meeting as productive. She underscored the need for workers within sections to collaborate towards achieving shared objectives.
Roberts called on all ABWU members to deepen their involvement and participation in the Union: “Let us know what is going on in your organisation; that is the only way we can help!”
